Brittany poster
A little bit more work this week and then a little bit less time for my blog. But here is my last creation, a poster to present an event in Alliance Française de Wellington: Brittany presentation.
As last time, I don’t know which version choosing! I’m also waiting for your comments to help me correcting the future poster lay-out as: the event date and place are not well highlighted. I was forced to keep this display but I hope to change it next time.
Business card: A or B?
So, after a few months to postpone this task, I finally found a little bit of time to create my own business card! Cool! But, as always, I’m still in front of a choice: A or B? Which one is the best to depict m business, my mind. Then, I though YOU could help me
It’s easy, here are the various issues… tell me your opinion:
Knowing that the “landscape” versions, more traditional, have been done using Illustrator with the frog in use on my portfolio… but is it not too much for a business card? And the “portrait” versions have been done using Photoshop. These last ones are quite outstanding (too much?) and davantage promote my portfolio.
So what’s your choice?
One more flyer
Still for Alliance Française de Wellington, I created this flyer on one side only. Here are 2 of the 4 suggestions:
The 2 other ones outlined in background the Millau brige and the Arc de Triomphe. Finally, they have chosen the version with the shop even if this one seems to me less interessant. My preference was for the version with the Eiffel tower in background… but I can understand they can’t bear any more this symbol as this one is two often used to depict the France.
To bring out the shop under the text, I have done 6 new versions amongst them are the two below. They are less readable in my opinion… but the customer is king!
The final version is on the right… and you, what is your opinion? Which one would you have chosen?
3 new movements
After spending 3 days in Christchurch, I’m back with 3 new movements for my little old wise. It’s still needing a little bit of work! But I hope to colourise this soon.
See you tomorrow!
Old wise man sketch
Still on my old wise man sketch research. Today I tried to draw different movement and face expression. I would like to give a young and lively aspect to his body contrastd by an old and wise face strongly marked by the years added up. What do you think about that?
Old man
Research of characters old japanese men like.
I draw one’s inspiration from Mr Takaoarayama’s photo to sketch the first one. Then I simplified and emphasized the interesting strokes. I’m still working on the drawing to create a character cartoon-like.
Here are the first sketches for this character.
Second flyer
A new flyer for “Alliance Française de Wellington”… to present a recurrent event directed by the french regions discovery. Brittany is the first region to be honoured by this new appointment.
